Ceramir CAD/CAM i-BLOCKs are used for precise and reliable fabrication of implant supported restorations. They fit onto titanium base (Ti-Base) or similar attachments so that the final restorations can be placed in the same appointment. They can be used as a screw retained single abutment crowns as well as for mesostructured (abutment) and final crowns. Ceramir CAD/CAM i-BLOCKS are compatible with all systems that provide a Ti-Base interface.
Ceramir CAD/CAM i-BLOCKS are manufactured using a patented laser sintering technique that produces a material consisting of a single glass phase embedded in a hybrid matrix. The result is a unique combination of strength, flexibility and aesthetics.
Ceramir CAD/CAM i-BLOCKS have an elasticity similar to dentine and a strength comparable to particle infiltrated ceramics (Litihium disilicate) without having the brittleness of pure ceramics.
The special characteristic of the material allows restorations made of Ceramir CAD/CAM i-BLOCKS to be milled to very thin margins with remained high edge stability.
The material has a homogenous glass-like structure with a natural translucency and with light reflections giving a natural appearance that lasts over time.
The unique properties of Ceramir CAD/CAM i-BLOCKS enable much shorter milling time than needed for other CAD/CAM blocks and no additional firing is required – just polish and cement.
- Patented laser sintering technology creates a unique combination of strength, flexibility and aesthetics. Modulus of elasticity similar to dentine (20 Gpa)
- No additional firing required. Simply polish and cement
- Shorter milling time. Reduced chair time
- Permanent natural appearance
- High edge stability and fracture resistance
- Easy to adjust and repair in the mouth
