BKP Universal Scaling Tip, compatable with Kavo PiezoLux,  Kavo Sonosoft & Mectron

Please ensure you choose the correct fitting for your handpiece, as using the wrong tip can cause damage to your handpiece and the tip will not work efficiently (or break). Please refer to tip/handpiece compatability chart under images for more information. 

Please note before first time use: Due to an improved vibration, power on the scaler equipment can be reduced by the dentist from 40% in comparison with a classical tip. This offers a better comfort for the patient with an unchanged efficiency for the dentist. Higher ultrasonic settings may fracture the tip. Refer to full instructions for use under documents.  




The Scorpion insert tip is coated with a 2 µm thick and strong titanium nitride layer. To maintain efficiency and for patient comfort the insert has to be changed when the titanium coating has disappeared.
