Thanks to its outstanding stability LuxaCrown is raising the bar in prosthetic restorations. Produced with ease in one session in the treatment chair, the crown offers impressive long-term reliability. In its role as a semi-permanent crown and bridge material, LuxaCrown bridges the gap between simple temporary provisionals and permanent dental prostheses with its significant requirements in terms of strength, durability and esthetics. In-vitro studies into the relevant mechanical properties such as resistance to abrasion, fracture toughness and flexural strength have demonstrated the outstanding mechanical strength of the material. Longevity has estimated by standardized chewing and wear simulation combined with artificial aging. These results suggest survival rates up to five years. (Long-term studies are currently underway.) Healthy tooth substance is preserved.
Reliably stable
LuxaCrown is reliably hard and resistant. The material has, in addition to its excellent flexural strength, also exceptional fracture toughness with > 2MPa*m0,5. This ensures stable, long-term provisions.
Optimum versatility in use.
You can use LuxaCrown in both crowns and bridges to give the remaining tooth long-term protection, to restore anatomical form, masticatory function and for esthetic corrections. The durability of LuxaCrown makes it especially well suited for the long-term monitoring of treatment success while bridging the gap during healing stages and in difficult restorations. The LuxaCrown shade system offers a wide range of esthetic options. There is a choice of eight shade variations. They are characterized by natural fluorescence and high shade stability. Practical application for efficient usage. The tried and tested Automix system guarantees quick and clean usage with optimum material results. The Automix cartridge goes a long way and lasts for up to 36 single crowns or up to 24 3-unit bridges.
