Icon Vestibular Etch is part of a system used to treat white spot lesions along with Icon Prime & Icon infiltrant.
Icon Etch is used to prepare the tooth for infiltration treatment. The HCl Gel is applied to the treatment area using special applicators, thereby removing the pseudo-intact surface layer. This is the only way to enable the infiltrant later to penetrate the pore system.
